RON MELÉ Having a deep an interest in visual communication has guided my path over these past 25 years. I love the written word and even find a greater charge when combined with a visual image. It’s the marriage of these two elements that has fueled my career and brought me to the forefront of award winning graphic design. Co-founder of The ART Department and honored art director in the Washington D.C. area for more than two decades—I have worked in a variety of environments ranging from a publishing firm to an ad agency. Prior to launching the studio, I was the Deputy Art Director of AARP the Magazine, the nation’s highest circulated publication.
